Andrology is a test commonly administrated to male patients between 40 and 60 years old

Andrology primarily concerns men. It studies the male reproductive parts as well as urological disorders. On the other hand, gynecology is the study of the genital tract of women.
Andrology is the examination of various diseases including:
- Disorder or erectile dysfunction
- Andropause
- Male infertility
- Ejaculation disorder
- Hormonal disorder
Generally, the men concerned are between the ages of 40 and 60 years old.
Here is a non-exhaustive list of symptoms experienced:
Fatigue or loss of energy, depression, decreased sexual desire, erectile dysfunction, mood swings, irritability, insomnia, symptoms of hot flashes, decreased muscle strength, decreased muscle mass, increased abdominal fat and others.
Blood tests or other laboratory-related andropause are:
Total testosterone, bioavailable testosterone, FSC (CBC), free testosterone, SHBG (sex hormone-binding globulin), lipid profile complete.
