When a specific therapy is monitored, certain drugs need proper dosing in order to be used safely.

Your doctor will require some blood to be taken. In certain cases, a specific time frame will have to be observed between the last dose of your drug and the blood sampling the next morning (for instance 12 hours), in order to provide reliability to the result when compared to the envisaged targets.
