RESTING ELECTROCARDIOGRAM TEST
E-Zlab is specialized in blood work & medical tests at home & work.

The resting ECG or electrocardiogram is a cardiology exam.
This examination is the recording of the heart’s electrical activity (myocardium). A sheet paper is transmitted by the ECG machine. The results of a resting ECG allow a physician or cardiologist to detect certain heart diseases.
How is the procedure performed?
No special preparation before a resting ECG is required.
When the patient is resting in a semi-sitting position, the nurse will place electrodes on his chest, arms and legs and the patient will not feel any pain during the test.
A resting ECG takes about 5 minutes. A paper will be transmitted from the electrocardiogram machine and the test report will be sent directly to the physician or cardiologist for analysis.
