Blood & medical tests wherever You may be!

What is the purpose of testing the stool sample?
This analysis shows whether there is bacteria or other microbes in the sample, which confirms whether the patient has an intestinal infection. This test may also be requested when food poisoning is suspected.
The patient may experience symptoms such as fever, vomiting, chronic or persistent diarrhea, and recurrent intestinal or abdominal pain.
How is the test performed?
A stool sample is collected in a specific or sterile container. The medical laboratory can provide the equipment necessary to perform this test. No special diet is required before this test.
What treatment is needed if there is an abnormal result?
Your doctor will receive the results within 48 to 72 hours of the collection and subsequently prescribe the appropriate anti-infective treatment.
Perscription & Insurance
All our tests require a medical prescription recommended by any practicing doctor in the province of Quebec.
These prescriptions are necessary in order to proceed with either test and we urge that all medical requests originating from offices or clinics be duly identified.
All medical analysis requested by your doctor are reimbursed by a majority of private insurance companies!
